Phil Williams is Group Chief Operating Officer at the Clear Group where he helps lead over 600 dedicated insurance professionals. Having spent the first decade of his career in personal lines broking, notably at BGL and Capita, Phil spent the 8 years prior to joining the Clear Group as part of the management team at the fast-growing commercial lines broker, Simply Business. Phil is a passionate supporter of how professionalism in insurance and broader education can unlock the potential of those that are the future of the industry.

Phil is a Chartered Insurance Broker and holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Bath.
