Berandette (Berni) has over 25 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry, working in Australia and the London Market on international and complex insurance risks. Berni was appointed as Head of CDM (Customer & Distribution Managment) and Captives in July 2022, having previously been Head of Customer Management. She joined Zurich in 2015 in that time she has worked as a Global Relationship Leader for Zurich’s Strategic Relationship Customers and worked with the Construction team to deepen customer and broker relationships. Prior to joining Zurich, Berni was a specialist Construction Broker, she led JLT’s Global Nuclear Practice Group and Business Development for Construction, was a specialist Construction Professional Indemnity Broker. Before construction Berni was an insurance broker for mining, utility and multinational customers in Australia and the London market.

Berni has a bachelor’s degree in economics from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and obtained the Fellowship of Insurance, Australia & New Zealand from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia
